Forth Valley Viewpoint Trail
Ascend through the conifers to a fine viewpoint overlooking Aberfoyle with great views of the wider Forth Valley landscape.
The most popular wild swimming access point on Loch Ard, located at the western village of Kinlochard. An old boat dock provides a defined entry into shallow, calm water that stays gentle for about 50 metres before the depth increases. A grassy bank gives room to dry off and relax. The Sweat and Soak Sauna is a 2-minute walk. Expect crowds on sunny weekends.
