A picturesque 100-acre freshwater Highland loch located near Contin and Strathpeffer, featuring a beautiful pebble beach with a shallow, easy wade-in entry. Surrounded by birch and oakwoods, it is a popular location for wild swimming, including Ice Mile challenges, as well as canoeing, paddleboarding, and fishing. The water is notably clear and the shore provides a tranquil setting with forest scenery and picnic areas.
